How Do I Upgrade?
If you haven’t made any changes to the theme files then the easiest method is to just do a complete upgrade (download the full 1.3.1 version). Then follow the “How to Upgrade Versions” guide. If you’ve made modifications to the core theme files, then we recommend installing the patch version instead. Then follow the “Installing a Patch” guide.
Questions?
Anything related to support should be posted in the JobRoller support forum where our dedicated support team can assist you.
What Files Have Changed?
Many of our customers have done customizations to the core theme files and want to know exactly which files have been added, modified, and removed. In addition to providing the latest full version download, we also include a patch release. This will be a much smaller download and only include the files that have changed since the previous release.
So instead of having to read through the change log and figure out what files have been modified, you can just download the patch and sftp the files directly into your existing JobRoller theme folder. Youโll still want to deactivate and then reactivate your theme so everything gets updated correctly but this will improve your upgrading experience.
Make sure to read the “Installing a Patch” guide if you decide to go this route.

So where do I get the patch?
@Mike, just login to your account and you’ll see it on your dashboard.
Your delay of vantage theme further is pretty disappointing. I note that you have pushed it to May-June period. Is it that you want guys to keep postponing the purchase of any other theme similarto that….leaves a bad taste about how you guys are organised…
We just haven’t had the resources to build it yet but it’s next on our list.
You can atleast release a beta which we are all eager to try….
Come on! Get Vantage done already! The updates to your existing themes can wait!
I agree with the other comments…In January I was eagerly waiting for clipper or vantage…and now Im starting to believe that i should look for some other theme, as this release is delaying forever.. ๐
I’ve mentioned this before, but with regard to Vantage….is there a way that while you program Vantage you can build in a way of switching from Classipress to Vantage when it’s available? If you could do that, guarantee some sort of compatibility/migration script that can transfer the data from a Classipress install to Vantage when it’s available I think you’ll find that people will stay with you until Vantage is finished.
If we could start our projects in Classipress and modify CP for a business directory *temporarily* with some assurance that migration to Vantage could be done later without having to completely start over, I’d stop looking for a new business directory script today. I’m looking and pondering whether to jump ship just about every day because I don’t want to heavily modify Classipress, find out Vantage is finally ready and then all of my hard work in CP (and permalinks) are worthless if I switch to Vantage.
Do you see what I’m talking about? If while you’re programming Vantage you do it with an eye toward a large chunk of CP people moving their data over, you can plan ahead for that and we can get going on our projects rather than trying to find another solution elsewhere.
Thanks for the fixes! I’m looking forward to JR 1.4 and appreciate your focus on building true WP applications. JR is viable in the marketplace only because you treat it like a true application and not a one off theme.
Hi,
Is it possible to run with the plugin WPtouch Pro? Because right now its not working (on iPhone & on IPAD).
Here is the website: http://www.bravenewcode.com/
Thank you for the great job theme. I am looking forward to v1.4. I need the ability to allow only members to see the full job details and contact the employer.
I love jobroller ๐ Can`t wait for v1.4
Any news on this ?
Also, can you update product release status page every 15 days (2 per month) ?
@Lucian- beta testing on 1.4 begins next week. Look for it to be released the first or second week of May.
Yes, we plan on updating the release status page twice a month. Thanks for the suggestion.
Yeah yeah yeah!! Gimme that 1.4!!
Any chance of you guys supporting Javascript widgets. My parent site is a separate WP install. I would love to include some of the widgets from the job site though. http://startupwindow.com and http://startupwindow/jobgen
1.4 status still “imminent” ? Please release it! ๐
See the status of JobRoller 1.4v is ‘completed’ so will the demo be up soon so we can see how the resume post works? Thank you!
Oops.. you already did it! Awesome! Sold!
